Animals which is just what we are, do not believe in a god. Sometimes I look up to animals moreso than humans. They don't create as much chaos in the forms of culture, society, and religion. They hunt and fight for turf. We fight for petty ideals such as a version of worshipping "god" or for ideologies we consider more elite. Not saying humans (animals) are any worse than the rest of the other animals, but we sure do a good job of destroying more than what is needed for us.

We humans anticipate our deaths.
We know what the stars really are.
We know we are made of dust.
In every feature of Man, there is at least one animal having that attribute ...greater than we do.
We humans are not the best of sighted creatures.
We are not the strongest, and we are not the quickest.
We are not the most dedicated to each other.
So what is Man that God is mindful of him?
That we do anticipate our deaths, and perform toward an afterlife...
we are then subject to judgment.
Not all things that breath, continue to live.

There is no difference. We are animals. We are just so enchanted with our own intelligence that we have seduced ourselves into thinking we are somehow better than they are. It's a sign of our insecurity, really.
