2 Timothy 4:6 and 2 Timothy 4:8.Ecclesiastes 12:7 and Ecclesiastes 3:21. and Hebrews 9:27.
I think this is saying when we die we await a crown of rightness like in Daniel 12:2.After we are brought back to life.
Daniel 12:2 correlates to John 5:28-29.
It's about the resurrection...awakening people from the sleep of death. (Sleeping in the dust)
The resurrection will see both the "righteous" and "unrighteous" called from the same place....their graves.
For the majority of the human race, resurrection will be a restoration of everlasting life on earth, as God first intended.....but to assist Christ in his Kingship, God has chosen some (a finite number) from among the human race to rule with him as Kings and Priests. (Revelation 20:6; Revelation 14:1-4) He has promised that these will be resurrected "first".
The Bible indicates that these heavenly rulers will have earthly subjects. (Revelation 21:2-4) Being priests also means that we will have guidance and intercession in our worship.
It's going to take a 1,000 years to undo the damage done by the devil, Adam and his wife. But lessons learned will last forever.
