What do you think, Your family is God's property or your property ?

You love your family so much.
Can you be happy with "God", if he would take any of your "Dear One" ?

Do you think your family is God's property or your property....?

Honestly.. ????? :)

You premise is false: I do not love my family.
God could not take any of my "Dear One," because I have none and because there is no God.

Anyways, to answer your question, neither. Your family is the State's property, or at least should be.

My family are certainly not anyones property. They are all individuals in their own right.
Family links are not about ownership.

God has taken many of my dear ones,
My mother and sister when I was 4.
My brother Glenn when I was 6.
My grandfather when I was 10
My daughter when I was 23.
At age 7 my brother and I were moved to foster homes and then adopted at age ten, I did not see my father or other siblings from age 7 to age 22.
I had everything taken from me except my little brother Matt.

Everything that exists is the property of God.
You can lose everything, but if you have God you will still find happiness.
I am living proof of this.

Than why are you saying My Family, why not God's Family ?

Chinu

Because I was talking about the family I am part of ( my Family)
It is equally true of any other family, including yours.

We all belong to the larger family of God but it seems he gives us freedom whilst on this earth.

Terrywoodenpic, tell me-- When "God" has given us the freedom to control or delay our own deaths ?

Yes, he has given us the freedom for everything but not over our deaths. :)

In this case/usage, "My" is an indicator of relationship, not "ownership".

Obviously, he was speaking of the mother, sister, brother and grandfather
related to HIM,
and not the mother, sister, brother and grandfather related to....
you.... or me..... or ..... (fill in the blank)

He was not implying in his use of the relational indicator "My"
that he "owned" any of them.

Violet.
:D :D :D Yes !!! you can say this as a RELATION of OWNERSHIP. :)

UV, Thank you for shedding some more light on the topic. :)

Chinu

No. A relation, in terms of....
this is the woman who pushed me out of her womb,
after carrying me inside herSelf for 9 months.
or
This is the girl whom was also pushed out of the very same womb as I was.

Relationships require at least two parties/persons/personas/things.
The "MY" simply identifies WHO one of those parties IS.

If you want to play a semantics game with language however,
that's your bag.
I like language games actually.
But, semantics, personally, I can do without.

While you may have your own linguistic preferences/outlooks,
as do I,
it is disingenuous to put unintended "meaning added"
in other people's mouths.

He has given us freedom to bring forward our death.
There are many things we do not have power to do, extending our life is only one of them... neither can we grow wings and fly.

Fear God & nothing else.
I have become fond of This simple phrase "There is no me". I don't think I can objectivly answer the original question because I do not really believe in death. I am willing to concede that all flesh, with the exception of Christ Jeses, will return to the dust wence it came. WIth that being said, I would like to point out that I know many and am aware of many more who have "died", but the only one i know of to ever be "Taken away by God" is Enoch.
