Which famous philosopher do you most agree with?, a SelectSmart.com Philosophy selector. Ask about my top result.
Kinda cheesy but still pretty fun. What famous philosopher, out of a few listed, do you most agree with?
My results were:

Nietzsche (100%)
Hume (69%)
Kant (65%)
Augustine (50%)
Aquinas (32%)
Aristotle (30%)
Sextus Empiricus (17%)
Protagoras (7%)
Plato (0%)

The fact that I've been reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra recently might have something to do with the result...
But it is kinda funny knowing Plato is one of the most famous philosophers of all time and according to this little quiz, I have nothing in common with him.

It rated me as closest to Kant. Although, I think I'm closest to Nietzsche and Wittgenstein (the latter of whom isn't even mentioned among the answers to the quiz -- strange, given his importance to Western philosophy).

I greatly admire Osho's philosophy of 'Zorba the Buddha'.

Other great philosophers I like are Jiddu Krishnamurti, Jed Mckenna, John Russell, Jeff Foster, Jean Klein, Francis Lucille, Shankaracharya, Eckhart Tolle, Nisargadatta Maharaj.

I offered the most answers closest to Nietzsche's frame of thought and also offered very naturalistic positions and I got my entire percentage reversed! What on earth!

It gave me Kant at 100, and Nietzsche at 90. However, had there been more than just those 9, neither one I would expect to see at the top.

I can't answer some of the questions. :(

They have a convenient "no preference" option on them. The first time I took it, I got Nietzsche 100%, although I hit no preference on about 3-4. I tried it again without choosing "no preference" on any of them... and still got Nietzsche 100% :D

That man was a wizard.
