What form of autority do you have...

You think it’s your duty to impose your values on those who do not share them?

I think some things are harmful or immoral whatever the sociopolitical context. In that respect, I believe it is my duty to engage in conversation/debate with people who hold harmful/immoral beliefs or believe it is right to do harmful/immoral things in the hope that they may perhaps over time see things differently.

In other words, you’re the arbiter of what is right and wrong, anyone with different views is immoral, and the world would be a much better place if only everyone else could be persuaded to agree with you?

I don't think I'm alone in finding certain things harmful/immoral and that the world would indeed be a better place if everyone else agreed.

I don't say you have to or don't have to. as i said in the OP, this isn't an attack on anyone.
The reason this come up in the first place has to do with certain members constant negativity especially toward Islam.
So I was wondering who gave them the right to tell believers what should be right in their beliefs.
I think the believers already know those answers.
Can you give an example of something you would consider negative towards Islam? I think true negativity would be against the rules of the forum, but I'm not sure. Perhaps you should be reporting such incidences. I just see opinions, and differences.

Question Everything
What form of autority do you have to speak on behalf a religious faith?

If you are a non believer, on what autority do you have a right to speak for or tell the people who follows a religious teaching that they are wrong, evil, harmful?? Who gave you the right to tell believers what "they should believe" ?

Remember, this is not an attack at anyone, it is a question asked to learn and understand about what give people a right to in negative words critique a belief they them self do not hold.

I hold the authority of someone who dedicated 20 years of study and service to a religious faith who returned my service to them with abuse of my children. I know those whom I criticize all too well.

Personally I see it as wrong of me to critique other peoples faith or opinion about a religion.
But I have asked one member to explain why the only thing they say about Islam is negative, and not one thing has been positive.

I do not hold any authority over others, so if I now start critique, it would be stupid of me within this thread to blame others.
