You asked for forgiveness.

You dreamed of eternal life, of angels and heavens.

Of seeing your relatives, friends and famous historical figures all in the after life.

Of remembering your prelife and rejoicing in the afterlife.

What if god were real and nothing like what you thought? Imagine everything you thought so far was wrong. Very wrong. Like incomprehenisbly wrong.

Then what?

Just something that came to me watching the trailer for Watchmen. Out like next year... so relax...

There is not! *Sticks tongue out* This is quite the silly argument... The number 13 is also unlucky as is a black cat crossing your path. If you make a birthday wish and never tell anyone it will come true... if it doesnt it means you told someone in the future and dont know it yet... If you lose an eyelash and blow it into the wind you will have good luck... this is better luck then the all day luck from finding a penny.

Granted birthday wishes dont have their own bible... but Lucifer has a satanic bible and it doesnt seem to jive with yours... your conditioned that lucifer and the devil are evil so you wont read them and inherently think yours to be true... but having a bible doesnt make it real. What is the bible? Who wrote it? Who put the books together into one semi coherent tale? Why is the OT god so involved and merciless and now hes all loving and merciful....

You believe the bible to be true and too exist... You dont know and everyone knows you dont know so stop pretending you do know.

Which one would you think you would end up in???

ACK! I dont want to burn and sheol and hades... oh wait both mean earth... Ya know we bury or burn the dead so I can see how you got confused... See once they burned a guy they thought was dead and some foreigners saw this and described it as hell... The guy lived but the rest of his life was torture... it was a long time ago....

If you became ill, or someone you loved very very much were slipping away takin their last breath.. Do you think for a moment.. that you wouldnt plead with a higher power called God to let them stay a little longeR? You may say you wouldnt and that death is a part of life, but deep down I believe that wouldnt be true.. I believe... That you even if you didnt believe something inside you would have hope.. Hope comes from God.. Therefore, there would be a small part that does believe in a God..

Hope comes from god eh? Is that your mantra? What is the purpose of a mantra? Hey if you know all this stuff that other people think is false can you clear up a few things for me?

Is there a wicked witch of the west? Should I teach my kids to refuse to say the number 13 when counting to 20 in school? How can I find the end of a rainbow and when I do how do I catch that pesky leprechaun? Why cant I wish for more wishes? (That one really concerns me...)

AND that is REALISATION which everyone is looking for.

People are searching for the realization that god is real and not god per se? Or should be looking for god? Interesting but what if God is real but completely not what you thought? (Essentially read the OP for context)
