If you believe that a Christ character existed in general, but especially if you're a trinitarian Christian, what if the Christ was a female instead of a male? Would her voice be heard during those times?

If someone were a messenger of God would it matter if their voice is heard or not?Would her voice be heard during those times?
Her ministry would fail miserably. I can see it... Jesus standing at the top of the hill, beginning to preach the Sermon on the Mount, while all the male crowd is starting at her breasts, as the Galilean northern wind caresses her toga.
:biglaugh:Please....stop. I may have to gouge my third eye.
Oh God, why are you doing this to me xD ;(Her ministry would fail miserably. I can see it... Jesus standing at the top of the hill, beginning to preach the Sermon on the Mount, while all the male crowd is starting at her breasts, as the Galilean northern wind caresses her toga.
Come to think of it... Reviewing my above scenario, it could easily turn out as a HUGE and enthusiastic success. Depending on the wind that day. :yes:Oh God, why are you doing this to me xD ;(
In all seriousness though... If Jesus was a woman? To me, that's like asking if we lived on Mars instead of Earth. It's kinda incomprehensible to me and hard to think about, but if that was the way things were, then that'd just be the way things were. God would definitely be depicted more with a feminine side... In the name of the Father, the Daughter and the Holy Spirit? Lady Jessie Christ, Daughter of the Living God, have mercy on me, a sinner? So weird x_x
LOL yes, but if the wind's too loud to hear "Jessie's" sermon... Maybe a good model for a few years, but what after that? Heck, the miracles might even have been more impressive if they'd come from a woman.Come to think of it... Reviewing my above scenario, it could easily turn out as a HUGE and enthusiastic success. Well, I don't think he wore a bra. I don't have any scriptures to back that up, but I would stake my reputation that he didn't wear one. -Scuba Pete- ( 2004 "Did Jesus / Yeshoshua look like a woman or a man?" )
