What is an authentic Christian?

No, they are serving themselves and they twist and use God’s word for their self-interest. No where do the scriptures support exalting self over others or any such actions. If you think so, then you have believed the lies of blasphemers and don’t know the Bible.
Or I finally see how self serving the authors were.

What is an authentic Christian?

None of the Hellenist-Pauline-Christians, aren't all of the 45000+ denominations* of them (including the JWs and the Latter Day Saints) unauthentic, as none of them follow (Jesus) Yeshua- the Israelite Messiah , his teachings and the path he followed, please? Right?

If that's the criteria, then there are no authentic Christians anywhere.
What does it even mean to be an "authentic" Christian? I think that they would have a very high level of believing the NT and Bible literally. So, they'd have to believe in creation, the flood, in Satan and hell, in Jesus and his miracles along with all the miracles in the rest of the Bible, that there's demons and angels and all the rest.

Then we'd have to add in the proper interpretation of the NT and Bible, which probably would include that Jesus is God and that people are born with a sin nature and need to be saved. Those people would then think of themselves as the "true" and "authentic" Christians. But to others, especially atheists, they would be religious nut-jobs.... believing things that aren't true.

But they believe they are the only ones that really know the truth. Their religious beliefs are the only correct ones, and all the other religions and sects of Christianity are wrong. And those people in those other religions aren't any better off then atheists, since all people that aren't "true" Christians are going to hell. But... does anyone, other than themselves, see them as authentic any things?
