What is Atheism?

I see where you're getting at, and you're wording of your point is horrible. With arguments like this, I'd spend a good deal of time figuring out how to word it before you post it.

Let me see if I can translate your point:

When we rub our hands together really hard for a certain amount of time, skin particles start to peel off. Dust can sometimes be made of skin particles, I've heard, though I could be wrong. The Bible indeed says that human beings were created from the dust of the earth, aka, soil. However, our bodies are made primarily of WATER, not soil.

I'm afraid the evidence you've provided is worthless.

Now, as for what atheism is, which is the point of the thread, it is simply a lack in a believe in God or gods. Nothing more. Different atheists have different reasons for this opinion, though the more common reason is that there is no verifiable evidence.

What is Atheism and why are so many people wanting to covert to it?

Atheism is not a religion or creed. There is nothing to convert to. Now someone might change from theist to atheist and move towards Buddhism or some Eastern lite religion like many American's did in the '70's but....

atheism is not a creed. That's all that needs to be known.

When you rub your hands together really hard, what does it produce (not heat)?

A crushed penis.
