I agree. Not with Mr. Steele's double entendre, however.

What is better pepsi vs coca cola? For me it is coca cola.
Years ago they were the same for me, then one day Coke was on sale where I lived for months and costed less than Pepsi, so I bought Coke due to the lower cost. After many months of drinking Coke due to the lower cost, the price went back to normal but by then I was already used to the Coke taste and I prefered it over Pepsi so to this day I still prefer Coke.

So do you dislike the cola flavor or sodas in general?

I don't dislike or like them, i prefer iced water and have more respect for my body

If having a soda it will be mix of fresh orange and Schweppes lemon.

I'll use either coke or pepsi for cleaning coins, both are good at that

The only time I would drink cola is if I had a stomach upset. I once went out with a nurse who told me this trick that when you can't keep anything down you should try drinking cola for hydration. It works. I can't tell the difference between cola brands. (Though since I have not thrown up since 1986, I may be rather out of date on all this!)

But with all fizzy drinks, e.g. ginger beer which I like in summer (makes excellent shandy), or tonic water, I avoid the stuff with artificial sweeteners. They have a faintly soapy aftertaste.

I haven't seen Vernors in decades
It's a Detroit favorite as it was first made her by accident. On the tv gameshow Jeopardy, it was an answer to the question of what was judged as being the best soda? [we call soda "pop" here in Michigan]

We called it "pop" in Indiana as well. I remember having Vernor's available there when we were kids.

A few "dairies" in Indiana would serve mountain dew over crushed ice and mixed with either vanilla flavoring or sherbet, back in the 80's at least. Same with orange Crush.
I had it with Orange Crush many years ago and it was OK, but I never had it with Mountain Dew. Interesting.

BTW, when I make Boston coolers now, I use sugar free Vernors as I'm type-2 diabetic.
