Is God the most high like an ocean of bliss and we a multitude of droplings?

All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.

What more could God be like?

If there is a god/goddess/gods/whatever, from what I have experienced and concluded it is futile for us to even guess.

My experience with the voice of God was different on many occasions. When he was preparing me to be one of his servants, his commands could be very intimidating, especially when he was disciplining me. His voice sounded mean and demanding but after a session of confessing sins while he put my body to the ground which caused me a lot of pain, his voice would be very sweet and comforting. Sometimes while I was doing something he didn't want me to do, his voice would scare me with a very harsh demanding voice and a command to make me immediately stop what I was doing.

Once i began to testify to every word formed in my mind from the knowledge called Christ, then he become instructive and would have me go to a certain scripture to prove to me that the words he was forming in my mind were accurate and true. After a few proofs like that, then I became quite bold in writing and speaking every word for him. He would use analogies, visions and dreams and had me look at certain images of the world to help me understand how we were created besides having me write about the beast a lot and what will happen on the day of the Lord.

Overall, the voice of God is definitely the teacher of all the knowledge from Christ.

"All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full." Because of evaporation, which leaves all the salts, and sediments. So?

it expresses the continual cycle of water from a liquid, to a gas, to solid cycle, to a liquid.............coming from and returning

obviously they already knew about evaporation and how inland water came from the ocean.

I have heard people say this, but where did it come from? How do people know that?

I read something like that recently but it went like this:

What a great blessing it is when the torrents, streams, currents, tides, and drops are all gathered in one place! They will form a great ocean and the real harmony shall overcome and reign in such a manner that all the rules, laws, distinctions and differences of the imaginations of these souls shall disappear and vanish like little drops and shall be submerged in the ocean of spiritual unity. By the Ancient Beauty, in this case and condition, the blessings of the great ocean will overflow and canals shall become as spacious as an endless ocean and each drop shall become as a boundless sea!

Vanakkam,

It's a genius idiot that is very far away just by your side that is indescribably described as repulsively beautiful yet totally full of emptiness. In short, it's a lot of things that are nothing here and nowhere at the same time.

The personification of the believer's ideas of virtue and perfection.

A face put on the universe to make it relatable.

A coping mechanism to soothe the believer's worry when they look at everything important that's left undone.

The central character in a set of just-so stories that, while fictional, are useful for giving the believer's life meaning, context, and a sense of purpose.

I believe If you want to know what God is like read the Bible and particularly pay attention to Jesus who is God in the flesh and to get to know Him even better, accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

I believe that doesn't sound like my God. I suppose it could be a false god or a false image of the One.

I believe this is a bizarre way of viewing it but there may be some truth in what has been said.

I'd never thought of the water cycle as an analogy but it does work quite well when you think about it

We are made in God's image, not separate, we come from and return to him, we follow each other- we follow God individually, and God follows us as a whole..

and some droplets don't make it to the sea, they fall into the cracks and gets trapped underground!

Don't give up so soon!
I can assure you, any further knowledge acquired will require knowledge beyond anything contained in a book, including their deities. If a book mentions it, it is not what I seek or need.
And it's no so much giving up as just not caring. We're a virus living on a moss-and-water covered speck of iron floating out in an incomprehensible enormous universe. I also truly believe it is human arrogance to try to claim to have any such knowledge and posses occult secrets. We can't even get 10 people to watch the same event and give 10 identical statements, but we're going to pretend to know about such things as god and afterlife?
