God is exactly like the person talking about their god. There is no better way to learn about a person than to have them describe what they think god is, because they're really talking about themself.

It also god is angry and jealous. Why is there any reason we should assume god experiences similar/comparable emotions that we do?

That doesn't prove or suggest that god experiences the same emotions we do. Being a god and all, this entity most definitely does not have a human brain.

I imagine "god" as more of a force rather than as a person, one of pure love and pure logic. Can I rationalize or substantiate that? Probably not, but if such a thing exists, that's what makes the most sense to me.

Humans and other animals need pleasure and love. God is not human. Why should we assume we needs love and pleasure? Should a god not be above such trivial human emotions that so often cloud and distort our judgments and so often mess things up for us?
