What is "Kingdom of God"?

I believe this is a false conclusion based on an improper exegesis.
Luke 17:21 neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.
If it isn't here or there it can't be in the midst.

'it' can't be, but Jesus, as coming king (ruler) of God's kingdom government, was within their midst right there.
Any thoughts about ' within ' according to Mark 7:21-23
After Jesus is done speaking to the hate-filled Pharisees of Luke 17:20-21, then starting in verse 22 Jesus then addresses his disciples. What did Jesus teach his disciples about God's kingdom according to Luke 19:11-15 but it would Not be here or there but future. As in the coming future time of separation of Matthew 25:31-33.

What is puzzling is why so many republicans aspire to spend eternity in a monarchy.

It does not necessarily mean monarchy as is ordinarily understood, it could refer to the spiritual dominance:
Quran 2:258
Hast thou not heard of him who disputed with Abraham about his Lord, because Allah had given him kingdom? When Abraham said, ‘My Lord is He Who gives life and causes death,’ he said, ‘I also give life and cause death.’ Abraham said, ‘Well, Allah brings the sun from the East; bring it thou from the West.’ Thereupon the infidel was dumbfounded. And Allah guides not the unjust people.

Abraham was not a monarch or a king in worldly sense, yet his kingdom has lasted on the hearts of people up-to now.

Which religions ascribe to it and why? Who established it or will establish it?

We are building it now step by step. It is an actual world spiritual civilisation which will bring peace to all on earth. It was Promised in the Bible that there would be 'one fold and one shepherd' and that the 'wolf would lay down with the lamb' which means the antagonistic sects will live in peace as one fold.

I believe that is the case. Since the Kingdom of God is within Jesus it goes where He goes. However He is not stationary so one may not say it is a place. Since I have Jesus in me I am also in the Kingdom of God and it goes where I go but it does not rule this land (The USA).

I believe you could call it the Kingdom of the AntiChrist

I believe you need to read and understand. The Kingdom hasn't left, Jesus did. So when He returns He receives the Kingdom that is already Here in us.

I believe verse 34 is the significant one. Now Jesus is speaking of the Kingdom of God actually being in power over the world with Him as King and having everlasting life. It is the same kingdom but with a different relationship to the world.

Joh 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name.

I believe what is His is mine and what is mine is His.
