What is more important for you in life ?
  • Fun and enjoyment.
  • To search the meaning of Life.
If you are searching the meaning of life, Than how will you justify that you aren't getting any fun and enjoyment in this search ? :)

Ah, the eternal paradox. What happens if, at the end of your life, you find that the meaning to life was to have fun and enjoyment?

I think you didn't understood my question, dyanaprajna.
Please read the question once again, I have edited it to make it more clear.:)

Ah, ok. I understand.

I think searching for the meaning of life is more important, and the justification for not getting fun and enjoyment from searching is that fun and enjoyment are only temporary distractions, meant to rise and pass away, while the meaning of life, actually grasping it, alleviates the feeling of the need for such fun and enjoyment, which do not bring true happiness.

Rephrasing the question, to make it more clear.

I make a claim that "Searching" gives fun and enjoyment, or "Searching the meaning of life" gives fun and enjoyment.

Which means that people do this "Job" because they get fun out of it, if not, than justify it ?

If this "Job" also gives fun and enjoyment, than how it is different to fun and enjoyment which people get from other things in life ?

As a result, what changes do happen in one's life, than that of a normal person ? :)

Fun & enjoyment rule!
(That is the meaning of life.)

I don't search. I just explore, & see what I find.
(I don't think there's any meaning to life other than what I find personally.)
If you aren't the searcher of "Meaning to life", than I don't think you are eligible to answer this question on the behalf of such a Searcher, are you ? :)

But, my question is just for the searchers.
Your first question didn't make this restriction.
It's the one I answered.
Your second question addressed searchers.
It's the one I didn't answer.
I carefully observed the stated conditions of your thread.

I believe that we can search for the meaning of life and also have fun and enjoyment. Our lives are multi-faceted.

Greetings all,

Perhaps searching for the "meaning of life" can be fun and enjoyable; perhaps, sometimes it is not.

To me, the meaning of life is simply to breathe (exist), I may be aware of this equation or not and I may add to this according to the moment and the circumstances of my existence.

best,
swampy

May be the fault of my way of asking.

Anyways, please don't fight with me, am your small brother, just take it easy. :)
