Well . . . I guess you are just going to have to remain in your usual position in the dark . . .

Or the mods could check ISP#s, things of that nature.

Sorry, but ISP's do not tell us if the poster is a poe or not. And if you are not a poe I am not the one in the dark. Assuming that you are real you are the one that denies reality. Darkness and ignorance is your friend.

A poe like the one in question would have the same ISP as mine, obviously. They are usually posting under multiple names under the same ISP. It's highly unlikely that someone here would share mine legitimately. Darkness and ignorance, my old friend.

A poe could always post just as a poe at various forums. There is no need for them to join multiple times. It appears that you do not even know what a poe is. And yes, you are demonstrating ignorance again.

You think it's that easy?! Just to Poe in the singular would be unsatisfactory. You can't just stop at one, man! Besides . . . it has been my experience that Poes are generally the alter ego of a respected member of the forum. Which would leave me out. Once, on a forum I attended the administrator was discovered to be posting under multiple Poes in addition to his, uh, regular administrative tasks.

I actually found his Poes to be more significant than his other self.

And FYI, that means For Your Information, I do know what a poe is. I looked it up.

Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of the parodied views.

If only you could learn other lessons easily.
