What is the car of your dreams?

Hey guys :D

You probably lived your life wanting to have something for a long time, like a car, and you either did or did not get it.

Well I didn't :(

Here is my favorite:

Mercedes W140 S500 with ~300HP ~1992-1999.

This car has superb comfort and sound isolation (both air and ground) and it's reliable and designed to live forever if maintained regularly unlike so many other cars. It has a very hard and heavy body that can take accidents like a boss. Its maintenance is relatively affordable for a luxury car where I live too, thank to the unofficial workshops and export salvage/OEM parts dealers here. The problem is the scarcity of clean ones, being old, and the price for a good running one is unaffordable for me. The is why I took its little mini relative the W124. You can have a look at it here:
Check out my car guys

It is easy to get to the parts producers the car company deals with for European cars and getting parts from them is cheaper. The only difference is that the car company's logo will not be engraved/printed on the part and the special extra quality control from them will not apply.

Wanna share with us? What are the specs and why do you like it?

Wanted enough money for this.

Doesn't matter the car, but very soon I may be able to afford a car that drives itself. Then I can get a nice luxury car that does the driving for me.

Of course, you can also by the above Mercedes W140 S500 with ~300HP ~1992-1999 along with his driver. :)

Something that goes from A to B, is comfortable enough to sit in a long time, isn't prone to having broken parts and is environmentally friendly(er). Colour preferences, red or black.

I'm sure you can gather from this that I don't care much about cars. I'd even prefer to walk and take public transport but if I had a choice, these would be my criteria. Oh and I don't drive since I don't even have a permit. :p

I'll be your driver and for free if you buy that W140 :D

Dude, the fun in these cars is in driving them personally. Those old MB's are the only cars I ever enjoyed simply driving them.

Peace be upon you.
Peace be on you. Great post

Peace be on all.
The Car should have following:
1-One should be able to choose from catalog about almost all parts. Should be we, not company to decide what we need.

2-Should have front and rear steering.
OR
Should be able to turn around middle hydrulic axis

3-Should have good looking foamed bumpers.

4-If not needed, trunk (for luggage) should be detachable.

5-Should run on nuclear / solar / petrol.

6-Should have no wipers, should have some new technology which keep windscreen clear from water drops in rain.

+ many more

Probably this:

Exactly what I want in a vehicle. Full electric, one person, space for groceries. Not a giant monstrosity far larger than I actually need and with an environmental footprint to match.

I've been obsessed with Stingrays for years, since I was a kid. Always wanted one. I'd have to have that Big Block V8 so I can kill myself in style. :D

Come to think of it, a modernized carriage drawn by horses would be even better...
