Hey guys :D

You probably lived your life wanting to have something for a long time, like a car, and you either did or did not get it.

Well I didn't :(

Here is my favorite:

Mercedes W140 S500 with ~300HP ~1992-1999.

This car has superb comfort and sound isolation (both air and ground) and it's reliable and designed to live forever if maintained regularly unlike so many other cars. It has a very hard and heavy body that can take accidents like a boss. Its maintenance is relatively affordable for a luxury car where I live too, thank to the unofficial workshops and export salvage/OEM parts dealers here. The problem is the scarcity of clean ones, being old, and the price for a good running one is unaffordable for me. The is why I took its little mini relative the W124. You can have a look at it here:
Check out my car guys

It is easy to get to the parts producers the car company deals with for European cars and getting parts from them is cheaper. The only difference is that the car company's logo will not be engraved/printed on the part and the special extra quality control from them will not apply.

Wanna share with us? What are the specs and why do you like it?

A helicopter.

Crushed hard on various models of this beast all my life...*sighs*
And yeah, I know most people who drive them are probably yuppie wankers. I can still appreciate the machine.

Timeless classic.
Gotta be said, loving Lvcifer Invictvs' choice.

'67 Stingray, or a '67 Mustang would be right at the top of my list of US cars.

I think I got stuck behind you on the Yellowhead!

For the life of me, I don't know why some entrepreneur doesn't import 20 of those things and set up on Whyte Ave. in the summer time. Remember the pull rickshaws of about 20 years ago? It failed, didn't it? Cause no poor bloke wanted to run across the high level pullin' a coupla drunken electricians. These things, however, run on gas or diesel, even 'lectricity.

Sumthing about stupid Government regulations and and road safety, I bet. But I says, if they're good enough for a billion Asians all year round, surely a couple thousand Canucks could use them in one small area of town for just 3 months.

My dream car is one that is reliable and safe in a wreck, so it's totally realistic. Right now I have my dream car: My 2010 Subaru Forester.

ROFL!

Yep, I tend to agree.
Honestly, if I ever had the money to blow on a car, I'd be most unlikely to ever buy a Porsche. But old habits die hard, and when I was a kid I just thought they were the most awesome things ever.

I think it's mostly related to how the basic shape and principles have remained.

I'd like a custom hot rod truck.
