What is the difference between you personal and universal Religion?

I am seeing threads of the individuals talking about something known as the personal Religion or the personal relationship. And I am talking about the universal Religion or the True Religion.

Let's discuss both of them simultaneously.

And I am talking about the universal Religion or the True Religion.

You asked this in a previous thread. The consensus was that there is no "true religion". Truth is relative and subjective. Whose religion is the "universal religion"?

I think the issue stems from so much information to process that I use the terms like this:

My personal version of Christianity accepts reincarnation, even into animal form.
Most would say this is not the universally accepted notion of Christianity.

Even though, there is no verse in the Bible which disagrees with reincarnation,
and quite a few verses which may be seen to be in harmony with it.

My brain kind of does this 404 error thing when terms like "universal religion" and "true religion" are bandied about. I don't know how to talk about it, because I don't recognize it as being a thing that exists.

But personal religion? I hesitate to comment further without knowing the conversation this flowed out of.
