midopafo,
The term, Grace, has many meanings!! The one used most is undeserved kindness, or undeserved favor. It has to do with Agape Love, Graciousness, etc.
Anyone who steps on that road to life, and stays on it has received God's Grace. This means that you are in an approved condition of Salvation, Matthew 7:13,14. That just gets you started, as there are many requirements to be a Christian, Matthew 7:21-23, Romans 2:13, Titus 1:16, 1John 3:18.
Consider a few things that are requirements, you must follow in the footsteps of Jesus, 1Peter 2:21, you must understand who God is, and the place Jesus has in God's purpose, Hebrews 11:6, John 17:3, 1John 2:1-6. You must be Baptized in the one faith, that God blesses, Ephesians 4:4, 1Peter 3:21. A Christian must be honest in all things, Hebrews 13:18. We must be witnesses of God and Jesus, Matthew 28:19,20, 2Timothy 4:1-5, Acts 4:19,20, 5:28,29.
You might think that these things are very hard to obey, but they are not. The fact is, all of God's requirements are a protection for a Christian, not a burden, 1John 5:3. Ask for God's Spirit, and He will help you, 1Corinthians 2:10.

Grace is given, grace is given though faith 'Abraham believed God and it was counted as righteousness' God is glorified in man's dependence and grace is a means of that

Our actions are like the tip of the iceberg and grace is often God working in the in the parts unseen. Why we choose or are restrained form bad choices. In the end grace rests not on us but on God.

Grace is part of a paradox

It is often said God won't ask you to do anythign you can't... but ... it's not true... God often calls His people to do things beyond their natural abilities. Grace is where they find the help and mercy in God to do it and to be it. They find a righteousness not their own in Christ's work on the cross. They find new hearts in the new birth to desire and love God rightly.. And they find power to change.

With man, it's impossible but with God all things are posisble

Jesus in me
The entire thing talks about how to receive God's grace.

Show me one place that it does not.

Mat 5:3 ¶ Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

I believe there is no mention of God giving anything. It does suggest that the person providing the right spirit is the one who will receive grace. For instance it was only when I realized I could not manage my own life that I was willing to ask Jesus to be my Lord and savior.

Jesus in me
Yes .. many people don't seem to understand that.
It's true that Almighty God bestows His Grace on whomsoever He wills. It manifests itself in the love of God and trying our best to please Him

I believe it does not help. You can try until you are blue in the face but your trying indicates a haughty spirit that can not receive grace.

Trying may or may not be haughty....

If it's pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and trying to stand on your own righteousness that woudl be haughty
On the other hand God't grace may cause someone to 'hunger and thirst for righteousness' and we see an example in the first gentile convert Cornelius where the angel told him 'your prayers and alms has risen as a monument before the Lord' and then Peter was sent to Cornelius to preach the gospel of grace... in his case grace was working, drawing, changing behavior... haughty? no...

Revelation all the time
I've experienced God's Grace. I'd characterize it as profoundly loving, fully appreciative, always present, never tiring, exponentially increasing joy.

I don't fully understand how I received it when I did (when I experienced it for consecutive days - more like weeks). Yet, I do know I was in process of 'most willing to submit to higher authority, not of this planet' than I had previously ever had prior to that point in my life. So, submission, in a word strikes me as plausible to how to get it.

Since that experience, I've understood a few things, one of which it (Grace) is occurring all the time, whether you consciously realize it or not (perhaps normal to not realize it). Getting glimpses of it likely does occur often, and consciously, but is treated as (mere) joy or appreciation. With actual Grace, the (or my) level of knowledge (for purpose or life) was/is maximal. I was never doubtful, very much at peace in all possible situations. Truly welcoming all situations as great(er) opportunity to share joy.

It is His free gift for all who believe in His Son Jesus Christ, that will freely remove the stain of sin.
The Grace of God is FREE, but the wages of sin is death. Fairly easy choice for any that hear the good news of the Gospel. Grace wins
every time.
