First, I have that episode on tape and recall bits and pieces of it. The 2 Lazaruses kept switching universes, and the Enterprise crew was confused for a while. Didn't one of them have a scar the other one didn't? 
Since you mentioned Star Trek, Spock's sacrifice in 'Wrath of Khan' and Kirk's demise in 'Generations' as well as Lazarus' are all similar because each did what he felt was necessary to save the lives of others.

I would submit that parents who forego a vacation, a fancy new car, or another luxury to save for their children's education and people who volunteer their time to help others are two prime examples of sacrifices that while not cosmic nor dramatic are just as noble.:162:bartdanr said:
