What is the most powerful emotion?

Fear is the most powerful emotion. It is a hold over to our animal roots and is a very primitive emotion that many others stem from. Hate is merely a bi-product of fear. I suppose Love could be equally powerful as it is also a primitive emotion going back to our animal past.

What about hate that comes from Jealousy? Is that also from a type of fear?

wow good one: as regret often lasts a lifetime and hurts just as bad each and every time 'you' regret..."The price of a memory is the memory of the sorrow it brings.." -Counting Crows: "Mrs. Potters Lullaby"

I thought: "ennui" ( n.) A feeling of weariness and disgust; dullness and languor of spirits, arising from satiety or want of interest; tedium. Apathy; indifference. All = Spirit killers.

...and the last one out of the circus has to remember to turn out everything..

Love is the most powerful-and we all have Love in common-no coincidence in that my friends-Love really can move insurmountable obstacles-but not always immovable objects hehehee->reminds me of this infamous anecdote: Sam Kinneson(RIP): "Women come up to me all the time saying;(whiny) "Why do you say bad things about women, why do you pick on women? How come you never pick on men? hmmm?.."
Sam Kinneson's screamingly screaming reply: Because a man never made me want to drive MY f***in car into a f****n Tree!!!oh-oh-ohhhh!!!! :run:

hahaha!!! I agree to both parts :D

I'm not sure about what is the most powerful... but while love may not be always be forceful, it's surely hard to kill where it exists, and it can (re)grow quickly, and overcome a lot. a tiny bit of love can disspell so much fear or anger, not so much the other way around, I think/hope.

I agree Love is consistent, and the litmus test is simple.
Love is constructive.
Hatred Is destructive.
Apathy=Spirit Poison. Apathy perhaps the most powerful non- power supplied by non emotion; non-power:cool:
