What is the purpose of life?

I wonder what you believe. Does life have a purpose?
Odd question and seems irrelevant. Lets see i will reframe the question does the sun have a purpose? Does space have a purpose. Does an electron have a purose.

Thus the question is limited and actually irellevant in a larger context.

No "purpose' whatsoever. However, upon reflection, if there were no life then I guess there would be no need for a universe. So there is that.
How do you know?
Agreed to a degree. Although i would say it is an invalid question more than no purpose or is purpose. Its a bit like asking whats the purpose of air, and does air find meaning in its purpose? Sure we can ask the question but......

The Word or Logos refers to the preincarnate Jesus. John 1:14>

Are you telling me to sh9w you know? Christ=Anointed and after his baptism which was when he was anointed he became the trinity... the father was in him at that point.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together. He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything.

Colossians 1:15‭-‬18 HCSB

So are you saying that Christ was not the Logos before he became flesh? An image of something is not the thing imaged.

Ok. Those alive are alive. Yes, an electron has a purpose. Does it think? (I don't think so.)

I believe the scriptures indicate that the purpose of life is to ... love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself ( Matthew 22:37-39)

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
In life there are those that seek pleasure, those that seek virtue, those that seek power, those who seek freedom, those who seek knowledge, those that seek security, and survival, those that seek order and sense, and those who seek they know not what. Or any number of such things all do seek.

Of all those things people do seek, i would consider those things purposes.

Enjoyment. Jehovah God created us to enjoy ourselves. This is evident from his dealings with Adam and Eve. He gave them delightful work in tending to the Earth, their beautiful home, and he gave them the command to procreate. Family. It's obvious that he meant for us to enjoy ourselves.

Well i could say your purpose is to replicate concume and create fecal.

So since i can create a whole bunch of imaginative senarios and believe it, the question is deeply flawed innately. We can ask flawed questions without realizing they are assuming something thats invalid.

So who made nature? Another way of asking is, was a creator involved in the initial figures? It's hard to phrase. In other words, was the primordial soup made, or just there without someone placing it there? Or was more involved with the various forms.
The universe is an illusion created by God through his maya, or creative powers and will. He is Paramatma and stays out of creation once he has created a self-sustaining universe called Brahman (total energy: physical energy plus consciousness energy incorporating the guna consciousness triad of rajasic, tamasic and sattvic gunas). The creation took place at Big Bang and the model I have sees the illusion of the universe expanding until it dissolves, where in it will be reabsorbed back into God through maya God's creative powers).

The illusion is perfect (we Hindus call it vyvaharika or visible or relative reality) in that we humans are unable to detect the presence of the Creator or Preserver of the illusion through scientific probing. It is like magicians play tricks on the human mind that no one can fathom out.

We humans through surrender to God can become Gods in human form (where in Nirguna God will appear as Saguna God to the individual) to carry out our individual dharmic duties to ourselves infallibly and perfectly for the betterment of ourselves and humanity. That is what these magicians do through mind power.

In the absolute reality (paramarthika) there is nothing but Nirguna God, which is Emptiness.

So if I understand you correctly, you believe life has no purpose other than to live.

Thank you for your reply. Were you born into a Hindu believing family?

I would imagine that is true, that God created Adam and Eve to enjoy life.

Yes... everything else revolves around that.
