What is the relation between morality and spirituality?

"Contemporary authors suggest..." does not mean that spiritually only equates to the pursuit of happiness.

You originally asked me this:

So, you believe that morality has no bearing whatsoever on an individual's state of happiness?

Which is a non sequitur

I'm citing the same source below that you are above.

But I would not consider what is described as "secular spirituality" to be remotely similar to what a lot of religious people describe as "spirituality". This is the same as I see from theists when they desperately try to claim that everyone has "faith", using the word in absurdly wide terms to catch as many people as possible.

I disagree. Everyone who practices spirituality (secular or religious) is seeking peace, contentment, happiness.
