What is the sex rules of your religion or philosophy?

Personally I do not assign moral value to sexual acts. To put it bluntly, I think that killing a kid for fun is vastly more wrong than, say, bonk a sheep.

Now, I do not count genital mutilation as a sexual act. I count them as a cultural trait that is related to religion, despite its ultimately defeat of God's perfect design. Why do people cut little kids penises foreheads if not assuming God's design is suboptimal?

The way I see sex is based on evolution. We do not only bonk to produce new generations, but also to establish a certain level of bond among fellow primates. Like shaking hands, basically. We just have to look at one of our closest primates, the bonobos, to see how sex is not only serving a pure reproduction purpose. Any religious person accepting evolution, will have to explain why our sexuality did not follow through from our closest cousins, like having a nose, two eyes, and all that.

What religion has done is to associate sex with reproduction. And therefore allows, as morally viable, sexual behaviour that is only intended to produce new human phenotypes. I personally believe that this view is superficial, and does not take into account a whole lot of facets that are important for us a species of great apes.

Frankly, I see this as completely immoral. Sex is for much more than just reproduction. And, if people don't want children, they can and should have protected sex.

Ain't nothin' was said about sex being only for reproduction. As for the rest, such is your opinion.

I am surprised your christian idea has few rules sorry if that offends, only one rule?

We learn something new every day. "One rule to rule them all, one rule to find them, one rule to bring them all and in the darkness bind them..." Bind a man to his wife I suppose.

"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh." That is by the marital union, the sexual union, the union of them both in their child, and probably other meanings above my knowledge.

Sargon would be proud. Where did you leave his ring?

And behold I am publicly disgraced, for I have never read the books and have only seen the movies (which were the first films to ever make me cry in life, solely due to the virtue and love of Sam for Frodo, Sam is who I want to be in life), so I have no idea how to answer this with a clever reference.

I'm going to read the books beginning this month so this never happens again.

Not sure if "rule" is quite the word, but Buddhism has precepts, one of which is to refrain from sensuous misconduct. I would take this to mean things like cheating, abuse or having sex with a tory.

Of course.

When people say "as long as consenting adults are involved" and "no religion to drag me down", on what basis are the "too open minded" limits come to be?

No big deal. Just a question to ponder over.
Don't ask me. I'm not the one saying that stuff.

Maybe the limit is only what is disgusting to us
Father and son is gross to me and evil, maybe old places with death laws for this kind of thing are right

That is a beautiful idea being united in children, it's like DNA :)
