In your belief, religion, what is the soul?
Are memories kept by the soul, is identity kept by the soul?
Some have said there is only one soul that we all share.
Is the soul the conscious self or the unconscious self?
If/when the soul leaves the body, what is left behind?
What part of "us" leaves with the soul?

Good question. My personal understanding is that it is like a spiritual antenna in every person that can pick up signals from God. So that everyone is capable of knowing that God exists. It is the soul, the inner spiritual reality that recognises and believes in God.

Here is what Baha’u’llah says about the soul.

Know, verily, that the soul is a sign of God, a heavenly gem whose reality the most learned of men hath failed to grasp, and whose mystery no mind, however acute, can ever hope to unravel.

It is the first among all created things to declare the excellence of its Creator, the first to recognize His glory, to cleave to His truth, and to bow down in adoration before Him.

If it be faithful to God, it will reflect His light, and will, eventually, return unto Him. If it fail, however, in its allegiance to its Creator, it will become a victim to self and passion, and will, in the end, sink in their depths. — Baha’u’llah, Gleanings LXXII, p 159

Some more information on the soul.

The soul, being of that one indivisible substance, can suffer neither disintegration nor destruction…

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Paris Talks, p. 90

The soul is not a combination of elements, it is not composed of many atoms, it is of one indivisible substance and therefore eternal. It is entirely out of the order of the physical creation; it is immortal!

‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Paris Talks

It's the pure light within you, infinite and incorruptible.

All the other stuff, your fears, your defects, your desires; they're the illusion.

Christian speaking not sure of what other Christians believe.

The soul is the essence of an individual ... The spirit is also the essence of an individual but it contains the essence of God also.
Both soul and spirit are the thinking emotional, intellect parts of the human.
My opinion all memories are kept by the soul - both conscience and subconscious. Just that the conscious mind is what we can pull up at a moment's notice and the subconscious remembers everything maybe even from the time of birth. (Which makes it impossible to hide anything from God at judgment Day).

If the soul leaves the body there is nothing but a flesh shell left, whether living or dead that is why some have to be maintained on respiratory systems - the soul is no longer in control of the body.
All of us leaves with the soul.

can you prove that thought with the bible ?

In the Bible I find Adam became a living soul and at death became a dead soul - Genesis 2:7; Genesis 3:19
Adam as a living soul would make the person of Adam as being a soul or a person.
Adam went from non-life, to life, and ' returned' back to non-life.
Sinner Adam at his death became a dead soul, a life-less soul - Ezekiel 18:4,20
So, nothing was left behind to be conscious. No post-mortem life, No double jeopardy in death.
Doesn't the word translated as soul comes from the Hebrew word 'nephesh' which means a person, creature, living being. Our soul is not a separate entity but our body.

a soul is a spirit encapsulated/imprisoned in a form. the soul, the form sometimes "believes" that it is permanent. the consciousness knows the form isn't permanent.

I like to think of the soul as the non-physical dimension/essence/part of me. Something analogous to software, information and digital dimension in technology. And self-aware.

I don't know how permanent it is. I just hope something remains and with it also relationships. If the soul leaves the body then what is left is worn out "hardware".

The soul is our eternal self
I find No teaching that Adam is eternal.
Rather, Adam went from non-life, to life, and ' returned ' back to non-life - Genesis 2:7; Genesis 3:19
No post-mortem life for dead Adam, and No double jeopardy for dead Adam just returning to dust.

ya well you are believing a lie. like it or not when you die you are 100% dead . only Jesus can save you from death
Yes, 100% dead without Jesus.
I find that Jesus died for ALL, so ALL would mean ALL of us.
ALL of us are really dead without the Resurrection Hope though Jesus being a ransom for us - Matthew 20:28

If you are looking for my exact quote _ it is not written in scripture as such. But there are many scriptures concerning the soul / Spirit of man which deals with the emotions and actions and the emotions are the essence of a person...............

God is a Spirit Person, but God's spirit is a neuter "it" according to Psalms 104:30
Plus, our spirit is also a neuter "it" according to Ecclesiastes 12:7 B

I found this on this website: Bible Gateway passage: Genesis 25:8 - King James Version
Genesis 25:8 King James Version
8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
I think most people know the Bible was Not originally written in King James English.
In the old Hebrew Scriptures (Tanach) I find Gen. 25:8 reads that Abraham expired and died..... - No ghost involved.

I find the teaching about a non-physical soul is a common teaching world wide.
Except that is Not what the Bible really teaches.
Adam was a physical soul and at death all of Adam became a dead soul - Genesis 2:7; Genesis 3:19
In other words, Adam went from non-life, to life, and then 'returned' back to non-life.
A person can Not 'return' to a place he never was before.
Because we are innocent of what wrong Adam did is why the Resurrection Hope is offered to us - Acts of the Apostles 24:15
Jesus offered a heavenly resurrection for some people like the people found at Luke 22:28-30; Daniel 7:18.
Most people can have a happy-and-healthy physical resurrection (John 6:40,44) and be part of the humble meek people who will inherit, Not Heaven, but inherit the Earth as Jesus promised at Matthew 5:5 from Psalms 37:9-11
Inherit a beautified coming paradisical Earth as described in Isaiah 35th chapter.

Yep the body is 100% dead and decomposes back until the Earth

BUT - the spirit

I wonder why Jesus said that the girl wasn't dead but it's sleeping and she was indeed what humans called Dead.
Luke 8:52 - Bible Gateway

I wonder why King Solomon said the body returns to the dust of the earth and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 - Remember Your Creator

Is eternal
