What is the State of Man After Death

how is it boastful?

It is obviously boastful to believe that we as HomoSapiens have a unique attribute, such as a soul. We adore ideas that make us unique, or special. Assuming that we have some greater purpose, or connection is very boastful.

Sleep until the resurrection is biblical.
I am not sure about sleeping until the resurrection is biblical. Can you elaborate on this as examples in the Bible of some dead people indicate they were not asleep. Lazarus in heaven and the rich man in hell, for example. Moses with Jesus on the Mt. of Transfiguration also comes to mind. The Book of Revelation has the saints under the alter praising God is another example of people who have died but retain awareness and are not asleep.

Storm, we are animals, so if souls existed, that would make sense.

If souls are real, where are they and where do they go? Imagination Land?

IF such things existed, my speculation is that there would be another dimension to reality, for lack of a better phrase, in which they constantly abided. IOW, they wouldn't "go" anywhere. They would simply cease to interface with reality's physical aspect, perhaps temporarily.

Bottom line, most people cannot imagine the idea of death. Where there is actually an end to something that we wish was endless.

Fear of what we can't control, whether it's "terrorism" or death, is the worst fear of 99% of people.

The creation of the soul, can thank this fear.

Unless of course your wrong.
Is that possible?

It should be obvious to everyone that no one has ever discovered a soul, or that they have one.

Therefore, it is merely a concept that has evolved over time. It is nothing more than an idea.

Unless you believe in ghosts.

Yeah, considering other perspectives is stupid. Better we should all just stay in our self-righteous little boxes and lord it over all those defective people with different opinions.

anyone who uses, "what if you're wrong?" as an argument, haha.

good luck using that with anyone.
One would think that with all your self proclaimed higher education that you have something better than this drivel.

Interesting how you did not answer the question.
Most revealing it is.
