What?? Is this true??

God, in the Bible, "told" them not to watch porn, they obviously did not take God (those specific Bible verses) serious

So, I doubt that they will obey this time, probably not even hear it. Old habits die hard
Did he? I do not remember any such verses.

Allow me to say that child sexual abuse is a bit out of the scope of let's say normal sexual desires. Which priests and nuns are supposed to control anyway. And watching or taking in porn doesn't help with self-control. Because as Jesus said, if a person looks at a woman with lust, it's like committing fornication or adultery. I wonder if these priests and/or nuns confess before they're inaugurated as priests, etc. I also wonder if they confess to their superior about these things. Well, I guess the Pope is a bit concerned.
Even Jesus said foolish things at times.

When one changes for Christ, one does so even if it is a struggle against the fleshly desires.
You were talking about people who were already with Christ for decades, called priest.

I replied to you,

so I was talking about priests, those are already many years with Christ (well, in word they are) and still sexual abusing kids

Hence my reply is correct

So then, going over this, are you saying that those who receive pornographic content of any sort do not receive Jesus?
You twist it around

Jesus was mentioned first by the Pope

I replied to the Popes quote, not to what you make of it now

No, I don't see what the issue is. You will need to spell out what you are thinking, I'm afraid. Do you think there is something wrong with the concept of a "pure heart receiving Jesus"? Or is it something else, and if so, what?
I think there is something wrong that the Pope has to tell a group of initiates to priesthood that they should stay away from pornography. The "impure heart" cannot receive Jesus ?? How about those not entering the priesthood, you think it's ok for them to be involved with pornography?

I didn't twist anything around. What happens to those with a said "impure heart"?

Then you agree with the pope: there is something wrong. But priests sin, just as other people do. Priests in the Catholic church are expected to go to confession. Why do you think that would be, if not in recognition of their own imperfections?

Where's the problem here?

The problem is that when a person dedicates himself in singular service to his god, you'd think he'd already be clean in mind, body, and spirit. But obviously that's not the case. Furthermore, to be clean in Jesus' eyes as the Pope implied, means what? Or rather, what does it mean to be unclean...

I believe that is speculation. People have problems with sin without the devils help. Certainly there is evil involved in the porn industry but that is probably the love of money which is the root of all evil.
You say that is speculation -- but the pope already commented "to seminarians aspiring to be priests, telling them that they should delete any pornographic content on their phones, according to the European Times." (In other words ... don't be like the "Priests and nuns [who] also have the vice of porn on the web. Beware: the devil enters from there and weakens the soul," Francis said. "If you have them on your mobile phone, delete them."
Oops, weakens the soul...
So the comment was to seminarians and yet referring to priests and nuns that they don't become like those who may be devil inhabited.

Then you would have no understanding of the human condition. As I say, even very saintly priests still sin, as we all do. And, as we also know, there are some very bad priests as well, just as there are very bad Protestant pastors.

So I really do not understand why you make an issue out of this.

Well here's another little quote from the website promoting this fabulous conference -- "s he pointed out in this regard, the Italian Baroque master Gian Lorenzo Bernini - who was the architect of St. Peter's Basilica - imagined the colonnade of the basilica as "two great arms that could embrace not only Catholics from all over the world, but also heretics or those of other faiths".
Heretics? hmm. ...

I believe when it comes to heretics the actions were an embrace of fire at the stake.

I believe Francis is correct. Any weakness gives the devil an opportunity. He did not say that the devil was causing the weakness.
