The point is, tipping statues is a pagan act.
Well it's pagan in the sense that it predates literally every single aspect of the Abrahamic faiths including Abraham himself. So I have to chime in with my own what the hell is your point?

People have been leaving stuff at graves and tombs, long before the invention of gods, and tens of millennia before the Vikings arriving in Russia.

Such a custom wasn't invented by the Vikings, sovietchild.

And lot of the ceremony and customs of leaving something for the dead, didn't originally occur because of gods or religions. There have ancient belief in the afterlife, long before any belief of organised religions.
