Ok. I get it, the three UCLA players ought to be greatful of not facing 10 years of hard time in Chinese prison. I know, that if they were average citizens they would be serving 10 years, but Trump ia going off the rails with his antics.

Having an expectation via twitter is simply immature. This is a grown man in the white house in a position of power. He ought to know their fate was in his hands that alone ought to give him the comfort that he singlehandedly had them freed. But because Lavar Ball made his comment now they should have been left in jail based on the comments of one man?

that "they should have been left in jail". It struck me as more of a challenge
to the father's ungrateful assessment of Trump's role.

If these kids did actually shoplift in China (which seems to be the case),
how utterly ignorant this would be....
- They're in an oppressive foreign country with a poor civil rights record.
- Going there with celebrity status, they're representing their home country.
- China has its share of racism, & this exacerbates it.
- Stealing is wrong.

But I disagreed with your inference from his question.
Trump deserves criticism.....but fair & accurate criticism.

Trump is lowering the standards for all future president when it comes to class.

Personally, he shouldn't have intervened. Those players should have been punished accordingly in China and let this be a warning for others. They got a free pass because they were part of UCLA and one was a son of Ball. This was just a PR for Trump unless he's willing to talk to Xi about every American that breaks laws in China.

No, the problem is his twitter usage. The problem is this guy has expectations when in reality nobody should expect anything. The problem is, he is allowing one's father's opinion to dictate his attitude. the problem is he took to twitter because he got offended by one man's opinion of him. The problem is he went to twitter to complain about said person's opinion. The problem is he used twitter like a teenager. The problem is....You get the idea.
