What is your age?

Ok, I could have swore Sage was older than he is, Mystic was younger than she is, and Revolting, well, sorry buddy. But it's not a bad thing, it's your wisdom that makes you seem your age. :)

My kids are all taller than me, which isn't difficult at 4'11", and few people believe I'm their mom. Most people think I'm in my early 20's, and I still get carded when I go out.

My husband is never carded, and when it happens with me when we're out, it sooooooo ticks him off. :p

The ancient Greeks thought 40 was the prime of life.

20 annoyed me.

I had a HUGE party at 30. I felt sensual, empowered, like I really was blossoming. I was comfortable in my own skin. I was already in love with Steve, but I was also falling in love with my true self.

40? I don't know exactly how to put it, that the giddiness has relaxed, that my eyes opening to bright light before and were dazzled are now starting to focus on the scenery, that children really do grow up fast (so love them to pieces every day with a steady embrace and clear direction), that everybody makes mistakes including me as a mother now that I'm hearing my kids recall with great detail how I shattered their days, and that it really is okay in the end....just love them through it.

I dunno. It makes sense to me.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I just turned fifty - and it was the best birthday of my life so far. I feel absolutely fantastic and life has genuinely never been better!

Here's just one reason why - one of my seven gorgeous and perfect grandchildren:

LOL yes way and thank you!

It's all the weird health food I've eaten all my life I guess. I am an au naturale nut in more ways than one!
