My favorite holiday. It's a penance day to the Hindu God Murugan. Popular in Malaysia, South India, Mauritius, and elsewhere where the Tamil people have moved. Not your 'normal' holiday. Google it and click on images. You'll see.

Made up holiday, made up religion.

I like Pusam, which is actually real. Wait, that's the one where everyone buys me beer, right?

lol You should come by next February and have a look. Proof that is. No beer though, although it might help with the sights and the pain. Then again from St. Albert over here is such a long way you might get lost. Come to think of it you're already lost.

Wirey and I live in the same city, on opposite corners. He's a joker. I'm serious all the time. The only thing we have in common is our mutual disdain for Revoltingest. On this forum we go back a ways. He has a zipper on the side of his head so sometimes gets things kind of messed up. You have to forgive the bloke.

I like Tu B'Av. It is a little known Jewish holiday that celebrates romance and love. It is sort of a Jewish St. Valentine's Day but without the commercialism. Tu B'Av means the fifteenth of the Hebrew month of Av which is usually mid summer time in the northern hemisphere.

That sounds quite interesting.

What? Me worry?
The food is the best.
On Thanksgiving 2014 my husband and I conceived. I didn't think I was going to get pregnant that night. I guess that is something to be thankful for that now we have a cute little baby in the family :) Not sure if that relates to anything.

I will refrain from any stuffing references, but please tell you did not name the kid Cranberry.
