What Is Your Minor Malfunction?

Interesting. I did a 24 hour fast from food on the most recent ekādaśī. Of course, I did not experience anything like that considering that it was only 24 hours. On what day of your fast did you first notice the forgetfulness?

The hair on the back of my head does whatever it jolly well wants to.

My brain went out a little bit yesterday, but after I had some juice it came back.

Today, after midday my brain was gone. Juice won't do anything anymore(I'm approaching the end of day three, tomorrow I'll have some raw foods).

I once tried to make ramen in the microwave...I forgot to add water.

My sister did that, too.

Call me crazy but after you cook your Ramon noodles, then stir in the seasoning ... add and stir in a small amount of smooth peanut butter(it will melt). Its a whole new taste(and better in my opinion)

Adding peanut butter to stews in common in some parts of Africa, and also Peru, I think.

Here's a minor malfunction...I close my eyes I see colors and shapes. Apparently it's not normal. It's also not normal to see tiny black dots in your vision constantly. Like tv static.

I see those, too!

Due to fasting brain, I no longer know whether I'm coming or going. I know I need to wash the fish siphons, do a math and science lesson with the kid, unload the dishwasher, and glue some stuff on a decorative bottle... but all my brain function is gone, and every time I stand up I forget where I'm going.

What immediate, but temporary and non-serious, complaint do you have?

I can’t find a decent movie to watch.

I can’t find a decent movie to watch.

"Takers" with Paul Walker is pretty good. I just saw it last week but its been out since 2010.
Another one is "The Losers" with Jeffery Dean and Chris Evans was good too. Just saw it a few weeks ago and its been out since 2010 also.
I liked them so much I ordered them on blu-ray

I've never put together any kind of out of the box bookcase or entertainment center, and I have one that's been sitting in the corner of my room for about a month. :grimacing:

I'm afraid that I won't be able to figure it out or will need more tools or I won't do it right or...something. And now that I live alone I can't ask someone else to do it. :tired:

Tomorrow is D Day. We'll see how it goes.

Good luck!

If I'm not mistaken, hitting stuff and swearing helps. At least that's what I've seen...

Mine is being tired in the afternoon even if I've had a good night's sleep. I blame it on age.

I also blame a knee that 'talks' to me, swollen legs due to 'venus insufficiency' and allergies.

I found the cure for afternoon tiredness; I have a little nap most days. At work, sometimes, as I can’t afford to retire just yet.

I forget things, leave the tap running in the kitchen quite often. What were we talking about?

I almost microwaved a metal spoon at one point as well. Luckily I remember it the second I hit enter and took it out before it did damage.

Done that, ticked the box, wear the tee shirt.

Watching the sparks fly is a good reminder it shouldn't be done

It's immediate, mostly non-serious but, I fear, not temporary. I'm lazy. And it's irritating as I often don't know if it's just laziness that keeps me from getting up or the depression I also have. I should do some grocery shopping now and there's no more unread RF posts to read. Maybe I can do it.
