What is your sleep schedule?

I just hope that the cats learn to respect those times (they don't currently).
Cats? You are my kind of person. ;):)
My 8 cats have had to learn that when I am sleeping I am sleeping. One of them sleeps at the foot of the couch but she cannot bother me when I am sleeping. I don't know what they do all night, but they usually remain quiet when I am sleeping. Only one of them sometimes makes noise with another one and sometimes I have to get up and break them up.

To bed at 10:30, to get up at 6:30 even though I've been retired for 20 years, thus the only question is how many times will I have to get up and pee?

I've got two girls three weeks ago, they're now 15 weeks old. When I go to bed, it's cuddling time, so, no sleep until they're satisfied. More than two would be impossible as I have only two hands and the two are very jealous.

Generally about 11 till 7, although one of the cats thinks he's a baby T.Rex and may start rrrooaaarrring at some ungodly hour. Stern words are then uttered.

There are so many cats in the 'bed'(we actually sleep on a mat on the floor)... one headbutting you in the face if he thinks you're awake, the other that has to nestle in between the peoples, a few on the legs... The rest sleep in chairs surrounding the area we sleep in. Except Kore, who prefers the kitchen.

I hope you are talking about two girl cats. :D
If so, I know what you mean. I have Ellie and Princess always wanting to sleep on top of me.
There are always other cats in the vicinity, boys and girls, but they are always edged out since there is only so much room on the couch.

I can picture your house and it is not too dissimilar from mine. Cats everywhere you look!
It's a good thing your husband likes cats, and a lot of cats. I have found that in real life most men prefer dogs, although there are a lot of cat loving men on forums.

My husband is the reason most of them are in here!

He said he was a dog person when we got together, but he learned that he was a cat person who didn't know it.

Then he is definitely a keeper even if he does collect cars. :D

A pleasant surprise. :) Most men prefer dogs to cats. I only met one man who is a cat lover from dating sites and unfortunately I lost touch with him. :(

I guess my parents were opposites there. My dad hated dogs(still does). My mom didn't dislike cats, but she was by far a dog person(I think her not being 'allowed' to have one for most of their marriage took a toll on it).

When I was growing up our family only had one cat and it was my older brother's cat. I cannot remember liking it because back then I was not an animal lover.

I got a Persian cat during my last year of high school, but I don't even remember why. I carted her around in my VW bus from upstate NY to southern California where I attended college, but eventually I gave her away to some people in the apartments I lived in, realizing I could not care for her properly.

I only started to really love cats when I was in my early 30s when I got two Persian cats and the rest is history. There is no turning back now.

I don't think that loving cats is gender specific. People who love authority like dogs, people who love freedom like cats, that's it.

Do you have a regular time you go to bed and wake up in the morning? Does it vary?

I've recently decided to start going to bed around 8-9pm and then TRYING to get up early. My aim is at least 7:30am right now, hopefully in time I can start getting up at 5am naturally. I wonder how long it will take me to adapt to this having been on a different schedule for most of my life.
I usually don't go to sleep until around 2-4 am and get up around noon. Sometimes a bit earlier or later. I work closings, so nights are my 'me' times. I hate the morning, anyway.

The best schedule I was on was when I'd go to bed around 6am, and get up around 1-2pm. I woke up naturally without an alarm, and felt good doing so. It was due to a third shift job, but I sometimes wish I could return to that schedule.
