Once a man sitting the in plane was watching one farmer working in the farms from the window of plane and was thinking that one day when he will be getting retired from all his works, than he will purchase a small farm and will spend rest of his retired life peacefully working in the farms.

While on the other hand that framer was looking up towards the plane, he was thinking that one day when he will be free from all his works of fram or family etc.. than he will spend rest of his life by travling and visiting new places of the world in the plane.

So, this was about the desire, farmer and man sitting in the plane.:)

haha, good story, this is exactly like my life. Is the point then to be happy now, with the life we have, Chinu?

PS: I voted both, because I would like to have both options, so I can enjoy being in a city and when I need to go to the village, jungle or forest preferably to escape the city life style. I Just find I enjoy change.

I want to live my life like a tree. Just as a tree did not ask to come into existence, neither do I. Just as a tree is not effected by many things, so I do not let many things effect me. Just as a tree has no thought of gain and loss, but simply lets the seasons come and go, so do I let gain and loss come and go. I am happy when I have, and when I have not I accept it with contentment. I am content and I am happy.

Ha, good one.

I don't think the place is so important , to be honest.
I could live without problems in a small, big or metro city.

The big issue is what i am gonna do for a living.

Well given your poll, Metro City, because I like being among my fellow human beings and having a wide variety of options open to me.

All of the above.

However it would be nice to have public transportation around here. I'd probably go for the metro city since I don't drive. Living in the midwest suburbs isn't so great if you're broke and without a car.

I couldn't live in a town or in a city. We did for a while. I found it suffocating. I like space. I think I need it.

I definitely like small towns because I like how quiet they can be. When I lived in Massachusetts, I lived in a small town. Wal-mart was only 15-20 minutes away. I didn't mind the drive at all. We had a grocery store right down the street from my house too... I could walk there. I felt pretty safe walking around my town and going out for jogs as well. I would not want to go jogging outside where I live now... I've experienced too much around here to not feel safe.

I want to live off grid in a house I built myself and grow my own food in a community of similarly inclined families.

If time travel ever becomes possible, I am going to Fifth Century Germany and joining a tribe of Native Germans and live my life the way they do.

If it's never possible in my lifetime, I want to go to Europe and live on a Farm/ house on land, outside but near a city. (Just in case ;) )

I'm already living in paradise because this is the life I have created for myself. From here, it's all gravy.

Feeding the birds and the deer does help to pass the time. :)

Oh dear, Ymir, you really look like somebody I met on Friday. You're not taking Latin dance classes, are you?

Well. I've done all 5 on the list.
Metro city, big town, small town, village and jungles (not quite enough of jungles).
But my favourite is the desert.

My life is spent on studying, exploring and physically doing what I would ask all other colleagues to do.

I would continue to explore all wild life, all history. perfect my WWII studies, my exploration of the German leadership and war machine, and the relevant forces who fought them, perfect my studies of Islam while travelling the middle east and reading the relevant literature and explore the Hebrew Bible by myself and on my own terms.

after it was all said and done. I would like to spend my life trekking for new resources or similar to earth resources for mankind on the desert of Mars. however, that may be too ambitious, so I will work to study the relevant research about the red planet, and keep training in the relevant physical skills, so that this skills would be passed on to a relative of mine who will in the future be part of an expeditionary force that will do the job.
