You're right! We'd better get rid of those pesky things like freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and a right to assembly... While we're at it, we'd better forget everything we learned during the enlightenment. You know, all that junk about reason, freedom, and understanding and how it can create a better world. Then we won't have to be afraid of living under a corrupt, unjust, and oppressive system of governement.

I was thinking the same thing when I read the thread opener! I don't know why this guy was banned...I'm assuming that it had to do with more things than what he wrote here, because the hysteria about Taqiyya has been all over right wing blogs since 9/11.

From the pov of someone who grew up during the peak of the Cold War (when I was in early grades, we were doing nuclear air raid drills - hiding under our wooden desks from the chance of nuclear fallout....I'm not joking about this btw) , but as soon as the Cold War ended and we were hearing the talk about America being the only global superpower in the World, it seems that the people who invest in war and armaments of war needed a new Cold War enemy....and what do you know, we find ourselves with "The Clash Of Civilizations." Instead of Reds under our beds, it's Muslims sneaking in and replacing our legal system with Sharia.

Last time I looked the Jews have not taken over anything. People of all faiths are in politics, run banks, act, produce, fund and direct movies. And all Jews are not rich. If anything I would say the Christians are still in control. The scary part of that is that the tea party folks seem to really carry some clout. I doubt there are any Jews there.
