What religious leader or figure would make the best RF member?

It was asked if Jesus would join RF. But what about Buddha, Krishna, Brother John (your local pastor), some Sinsei, or some other religious figure?

I reckon Jesus, Buddha et al would make good members, the trouble being with them is that they are dead. That and the fact, that even if they did post, Christians would attack Jesus and tell him he was wrong, and Buddhists would attack Buddha and tell him he was wrong, Hindu would attack Krishna and Buddha and tell them that they are wrong, Muslims would attack Muhammad and tell him he was wrong, et al. It other words, none of them would believe it was their Spiritual Teacher to whom they were talking to.

Atheists of course would attack all of them and believers would attack back.

The Dalai Lama is the closest person on Earth, to Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Muhammad et al, and look how much he is ignored, even by his own monks in Tibet.

Muslims will follow the prophet sallalahu 'alayhi wassalam in every step he makes, or every word he says :)

Guitar's Cry

Disciple of Pan
Saint Francis of Assisi. :)

The Virgin Mary would be an interesting member.

I would personally love to discuss with Alan Watts, Robert Anton Wilson, Crowley, and Lao-Tsu.

Agnostic Pantheist
Saint Francis of Assisi. :)

A discussion between Robert Anton Wilson, Alan Moore, and PKD would be cool. from discordianism, to dystopia to a modern vision of gnosticism.

I'd love to see Mr. Cheese and Crowley go one on one.

:p

Crowley jabbers on excitedly about the magik of prostitute excrement until he nods off at the computer, meanwhile Mr Cheese expounds on the mysticism of the fabulous furry freak brothers.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
No idea who would be the best, but I suspect Fred Phelps would be the quickest to be banned.

I suppose I would pick Brad Warner although I would surmise he would last a tad bit longer than Phelps there before getting banned. Kinda becomes ironic when you think about it. One shoots straight while the other shoots himself. :D

My second choice would have been Shunryu Suzuki followed by Alan Watts if they were still alive.

The Great Prophet PBUH, does indeed have many followers, many supporters and many who do really love him. :)

Many followers of the Great Prophet PBUH, follow him in opposing and opposite directions. Many would not recognise him, if they fell over him, either here on earth or in heaven to follow.
