The dude’s gonna make a lot of decisions for us for a while, and sometimes he’s gonna stumble in to getting something right. Can we be seen to back a decision and still not back the man?

Bernie seems to think so.

Excellent point. And at the same time our experience on this forum is that we'll all spend a lot of time responding to the fallacious argument that support of an idea is equal to supporting the man. Could we all just agree ahead of time to avoid such conflating?

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Anyway, Mitt Romney might be Sec'y Of State.
Didn't he once say he was OK with Armageddon?
Not the best choice if he plans to hasten it.
But I'm just wondering out loud here.
I don't know enuf to judge.

I don't really get the concept that just because someone is of the wrong political persuasion then that means they have to be 100% wrong on every issue.

Trump overlapped with Bernie on some key issues after all.

I'd quite like to see a major study about how many people actually do judge based on whose policy it is, rather than what the policy is.

Asking affiliated voters about the same policy but just changing the attribution.

Do you support Trump's policy X?
Do you support Obama/Bernie/Clinton's policy X?

I wonder what % it would be? Also if there would be any difference between the parties? And how much difference it makes if the politician is hated like Trump or Clinton, compared to less polarising figures.

Corruption is an ancient friend of presidents. We keep them in line with our 3 branches and our dedicated military.

I hope so!

You dont have to vote for him, since that's on balance. You don't have to applaud him either. But good decisions are what your country needs. Take them wherever you can get them from.

I agree. I suspect Trump will make decisions I agree with and those should be celebrated. By the same token, he will goober stuff. Of which, I will probably be critical. Just like any other prez.

Of course one can. I'm curious why this question is asked?

Being picky here Rev. But not all broken clocks are right twice a day. All of our clocks in the Navy were of the 24hr type.:)

If facebook is any way to judge, I would say it's somewhere around 90%.

Just look at health care for an example. Romney's health care plan was hailed as revolutionary by many republicans. Then Obamacare comes out, essentially the same thing, and it is universally hated by republicans. Now Trump will come out with a lightly modified plan, and it will be loved by republicans and hated by democrats (I predict).

It seem to me that it is written that Trump will cleanse the land from these corrupted politicians. In this video, they were waiting on election day, to see if this prophet has really prophesied.

And in this video, that it shows that Trump and Putin will join forces one day. But this video was made in the late 70's.
