I ended up watching the Futurama movies today. I was just going to watch Futurama on Netflix, but it turned out where I was, the beginning of season 6, is where Netflix has inserted the movies. So, I watched them.

Most recently, it was "Reservoir Dogs" for like my 11th time. Love that movie.

Have started "Dr. Strangelove" which I've not seen and has only been recommended about 15 times to me. I liked what I saw (in first 5 minutes), but feeling I need to be in different mindset to really appreciate it, and so it continues to elude me. One of these days I'll finish it. Hopefully by the end of the week.

Saw the Man from U.N.C.L.E. on a flight from Salt Lake to Boston and I liked it.

Hello, My Name is Doris. If you like to laugh you have to see this movie. Just saw it over the weekend, Sally Field is amazingly funny.

I Heart Huckabees. I love the movie. Too bad there aren't more like it.
From reading online reviews, it seems like people either get it or they don't in regards to the philosophical content being the basis of the movie and punchlines.

Cap 3: Civil War.

Really good fun, some inventive action sequences and lots of the usual Marvel charm. Now, let's get a live action Spidey going.

Just rewatched "The Usual Suspects" and still love that movie. While the climax loses luster after the first time, I find it is still interesting if you take a good 3 to 5 year break between viewings.

Also recently watched (newer) movie on DVD called "Coherence." A pretty good sci-fi type thriller dealing a bit with theoretical physics. Very low budget, but very interesting concept.

Showing off a computer box thingy I made, I more-or-less got stuck watching:
Age of Ultron, which I picked because I knew everyone in the room, except for me, is into the comic book movies, and I thought the movie itself was pretty lame and filled with more holes than a rusted out ocean liner.
Captain America: Civil War, which was alright, but they should have just called it an Avengers movie, and during the battle with Hulk and Iron Man the Hulk should have been getting bigger throughout the fight and showing a hell of a lot more rage than he was.
Deadpool, which was alright, and it had some pretty funny parts in it.

I saw the new Disney release “The Jungle Book” (2016) live-fantasy-adventure-action/CGI film based on both the book and the 1967 Disney release of the movie with the same title, the CGI graphics in this version are wonderful - BEAUTIFUL! - and this 2016 release (which came out in April) introduces Neel Sethi as Mowgli who did a superb job. Sher Khan was quite startlingly gripping and graphic, the first time Sher Khan gave his sudden roar and leap, it made me jump in my seat in the movie theater. I watched it at the IMAX cinema 3-D glasses et all. Wow! Great movie for the entire family, young and old alike!

Dawn of Justice. I liked the script, but I didn't like the actors cast for it, and the only part of the movie I enjoyed was the fight between the two and who came out on top. I don't want to give spoilers, but I really enjoyed watching that fight and seeing the one get stomped.
