I recently switched to Firefox, used IE before that. I like the tabbed browsing, pages load much quicker than in IE. I also love that you can open bookmarks in a new tab with a right click of the mouse, instead of all the farting around you have to do in IE, opening new windows and such. My one gripe with Firefox is that it doesn't load pics a lot of the time - and unlike IE, which gives you the dreaded red X, Firefox gives you no visual clue that a pic hasn't loaded. And there's no 'show pic' option to load the pics - you have to reload the page and hope for the best. If someone knows a way around this, I'd love to hear it, cause I'm buggered if I can work it out.

I recently upgraded Yahoo Messenger, and the new Yahoo toolbar allows you to use tabbed browsing in IE. I still prefer Firefox because it loads faster though.

Firefox! Surprised no one has mentioned the great way firefox does bookmarks. I also think firefox is more stable and loads faster the IE. IE 7 can't touch firefox when it comes to bookmarks, I also think the way they done tabbed browsing stinks (IMHO).

Yay!! I dont think that IE has what it takes to compete. The speed, the ease of use, the functionality, the extensions, the themes. And IE - well bland.

Firefox. IE is pretty much a virus in and of itself. If you're using IE and your computer is slow or it tends to easily crash, download an anti-adware program, you'll be surprised by what IE lets slip through.

I use firefox at work because our work software works better on it...when it works at all....at home I still use IE because I don't want to bother downloading firefox!

Well, I'm not enough of an e-snob to use Opera... but IE is so full of crap these days. Particularly adware/spyware, but Firefox is heading that way too though because of the huge climb in users the spyware people have had to make the switch. :(

So yeah... Opera is nice... a bit on the fiddly side but nice still.

I'm on IE 6. Used to have Netscape and be happy with it, but on newer computers I'm lazy enough to let MS choose IE. I find no problems with it.

I run a lot of websites, so I have to use a few diffrent browsers and constantly test.
Firefox is my favorite by a huge margin. Konquorer is my 2nd favorite(its what safari is based on) but I actually like Konq better than safari because its more versitile per platform.

I have used Firefox and honestly, Safari is faster than Firefox. The only thing Firefox does that Safari doesn't is ad blocking. That being said, I am a Safari user. Very stable, very fast, tabbed browsing, style sheet access, popup blocker, easy bookmarking. Its basically Firefox without a lot of wasted memory and faster windows.
