What will everyone do when they get to heaven?

I think I'd try and find all the 'chinks' in computer software, so that nothing ever crashed again.:)

hmm.. not to sound like a pessimist here but i'd probably grab a bite to eat then plan my daring escape. For some reason, the idea of chilling out in summerland with the creator while the rest of humanity suffers in a desperate effort to get by (or worse, burns in hell) doesn't sit too well with me.

The whole concept gives me the creeps. I'm with you on this one, Michel.. "heaven is what you make of your life when things are going well" (But if i had a say, i know my 'heaven' would exclude the blue screen of death... )

I dont know that Im "going" to heaven, but I do believe in the ressurrection. Christ in his actions was an example of what "heaven" is. Heaven is rightousness, peace and joy. No part dark. Life not death. The "heaven" that Christ is in, is not so much a place, but is the very Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is Life not death, it has no need, it is unchangable. The spirit itself is invisable to our eyes, but we see the works of it all around us and also if the spirit of God dwells in any man he has rightousness, peace and joy and Life. And although the earthly body will die, he will be raised incorruptable.:)

"Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous, Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good; And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!" (3:133-136)

"(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?" ( 047-015)

"Race with one another in hastening towards forgiveness from your Lord, and Paradise the width whereof is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allaah and His Messengers. That is the Grace of Allaah, which He bestows on whom He is pleased with. And Allaah is the Owner of Great Bounty". (57:21)

"...for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for al-Muttaqun (pious ones)" (3:133)
