But, referring to your earlier post, it sounds like what I read in a book, I believe was titled "Many Lives, Many Masters".

I agree to an extent - just not necessarily the different levels. I think that other than "our" level, and "God's" level, there might be one other. And I think it is in between the two.

Do not believe in Karma. Only a kind of one that effects only one life at a time, that they do not spill over into following lives - but it isn't as "cause and effect" as much as that one's presumptions and attitudes lead to the result.

I definitely believe in more than one life - and the idea is that during life, we re-member God (to put it very very simply :D), and we have no reason to fear anything. No hell, no heaven.
