What Would Happen If God Is Proven False?

What happens to organized religion if God is proven false once and for all?

I'll be happy if this happens one day....to me, it means humanity has finally come out of a deep sleep. Man now has the opportunity ( the ball is now in his court ) to grow spiritually himself without any prejudices ( dogma) to cloud his thinking, but through his own realization with the nature of things...existence.
