But thats about it, I think.

Family, friends, people that have more potential than me (younger people). Any group of more than 1 person that aren't criminals.

Definitely my husband, my children and my God.

Given the right circumstances, probably even a perfect stranger.

I've often thought though whether I would have the courage to give my life even for my children if I knew the manner of my death would be horrific. For example, being eaten alive by a shark. I hope I would....but there's a small part of me that wonders.

Marie, my children and God - I have often thought that the greatest gift I could give would be to die in the service of God...

I know that sounds absurd, but that is how I feel.:)

Anybody at all.

When it comes to ideals or institutions I am much more picky. I'd never die for something like my country.

Just about anyone. Other than that, my beliefs. But, if everything goes according to my plans, I won't need to.

You will all die in Approximately 7 decades, give or take.

I think you are absolutly right. God comes before everything, if not for him we wouldnt have anything else to die for. God should always be at the top of the list, for all those who believe in him.

I would die for my kids, family, possibly friends. I am not sure. I would not want to die to save the life of a friend and leave my kids motherless. I have no fear of dying. I just do not want to leave my kids before they are old enough to understand death could not keep me from them.

Depends on the situation. If a gun was pointed at them, with the intention of fireing, and I was able to block the passage of the bullet with my body then happily. If Saddam happened to be stuck in the middle of one his own bio weapon hot spots, having just been launched on some genocidal mission then I would happily take a course of non-action and not risk my life for his.
