I forget how young some of our members are - my fault HelpMe.HelpMe said:who's deam martin?
Though I K(NOW) it was not intentional let us not forget the memorable collaboration of Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin of stage and film and THE COLGATE COMEDY HOUR.TVOR writes: I forget how young some of our members are - my fault HelpMe.
Dean Martin was one member of the "Rat Pack" (along with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford) that ruled Las Vegas in the 60's. He was a singer of Italian descent, with a very smooth voice, dashing good looks (according to the ladies), and one heckuva drinking problem. He hosted his own variety show in the early 70's, and had a ton of very big albums. He also starred in a series of movies as "Matt Helm" - a James Bond knockoff.
