What's Great About RF

Are you serious? I just asked you two questions and you didn't answer.
You need a specific test for every situation? The IQ test at least gives the odds of people solving novel problems - which might be a close approximation to intelligence - as to whatever problems encountered at least. Problem-solving, talent in various areas, and understanding being some of the more important qualities as to intelligence. As I said what other tests are there as convenient as the IQ test - and that tends to reflect overall intelligence and is correlated with success in life as to using such intelligence?

So i would say you have a low intelligence because I have asked you 2 questions in order to help you with your question for me. Instead of answering them you have gotten angry the first time and now just spit out a bunch of useless information for the glorification of your massive ego. Something truly intelligent people would not do.

Your gross post about IQ ended with a question mark so once again you want to skip over my questions but have me answer yours over and over.

Intelligence should not involve tests of similar methods. One can just practice their weak areas and study like any other tests and improve at IQ tests. Soon they will hit 200 and now they are deemed a genius. But what else can they do now besides IQ tests very well, did they 3x their intelligence just by practicing this stupid test?

Not angry at all - your misconception. Calm down, matey - you might have a stroke or two. o_O

No, I asked you what one might replace the IQ test with.

Rubbish. Have you ever taken an IQ test? If one had to assess people for a certain job how would we do this? The IQ test is a fair measure often but not always. You do know where this came from? The army, and making sure that those chosen were at least competent not to shoot their comrades rather than the enemy - but even then it was set very low - as one would expect for people only required to kill others.

The only way you'll ever learn is to listen to me right now. First, you don't pay enough attention to others words. You said "not angry at all." If you listened to the words carefully I said you were angry in your first reply and not now. If you want to discuss your first reply and argue over the words coming off angry or not we can but let's move on.

I would replace the IQ test with school even though school lacks in alot of areas it is done over a longer period of time with many areas to measure and consider.

So to see if a candidate is worthy or not we usually rely on resumes and interviews. With a resume and interview it is easier to judge somebody's intelligence levels and work ethic and even social skills and trust.

Since you brought up the army do you know that they would rather have somebody who is of high trust and low performance than the opposite. But there are no useful written tests for determining someone's trustworthiness at the moment.

Also no knack on the army, all who fight for others and their countries are heros but it's a tough sell to go kill an enemy without fully understanding why. The reasons these countries have come up with for starting wars seem to only fool those of lower IQ.

Why would I listen to you when I have to read what you write! You are simply one arrogant individual - as all can see here.

Not the point. As I asked, what would you replace the IQ test with - so as to give anyone a reasonable impression as to someone's likely overall abilities? Since the test does tend to give reasonable indications as to the abilities of those with high IQs.

Perhaps, but since about 25% lie as to their CVs, we might not do so well there, and confident, extrovert people who might do well in interviews do not necessarily do best as to the work required. Are you one such?

I couldn't care less - I just said where the test came from.

Whatever.

For your information, I'm not supporting the IQ test as being some defining factor, even though I did pass the Mensa test and another, but all I was asking was what might we replace such with if there was anything available like this.

In the real world, I'm surrounded by people
more intelligent & educated than I am.
But reading posts on RF, I begin to think
that my 70 IQ is a cut above.

What's great about RF to you?
I am on contrary i surrender by people less intelligent and educated.

Great thing about RF is meet many people, like you. Which give me impression that people around the world are fair and honest too.

How do you know people are less intelligent than you who you encounter daily but might not speak with or know fully. Intelligence is a hard thing to measure imo

Why do people put lettuce and tomato on those? Are they aware they could have more bacon?
Excellent question!
Tomatoes are essential for taste, texture, & temperature contrast.
(It's the 3-T philosophy of sammich science.)
Lettuce is there only to keep tomato juice from making the bread soggy.
The BLT is very sophisticated from an engineering viewpoint.
