What's on your turntable?

I just finished moving and got my record player set up along with my vinyl collection. It was something my dad really enjoyed and when he passed, my step mom said I was welcome to his records and player. Right now I am relaxing to the smooth voice of Robert Goulet.

So, what's on your turntable? (If you don't have a turntable, an ipod, spotify, pandora, etc will work. ;) )

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I remember enjoying Ed Ames Bon Soir Dame and some Rusty Warren comedy before going full steam into the likes of the Trashmen, George Baker Selection, and Giorgio.

Something about the clicks and pops really puts things in a category of their own. An era gone by.

I was dating a girl once (yes, I real one) and she asked me about the pops. I said it adds to the atmosphere and is a feature. She asked if I could get rid of them... we are no longer together.

I don't get it. What's with the current craze for vinyl? It hisses, pops, and skips. They are inferior in every way to CDs. We have seven boxes of the things and are in process of getting rid of them.

Old fashioned records last longer than CDs.
And old stuff is cool.....or at least it's good to trick young whippersnappers into thinking so.

Quite a bit of dust, no doubt. Haven't looked at the thing in decades.

Personally speaking, I don't miss vinyl even a tiny bit... though I did like reading the liner notes in a point size I could see without an electron microscope.
