Right now my girlfriend is playing Ocarina of Time. After that it either be PBS, or nothing.
The funny thing is, I HAVE!! My current Xbox360 is actually the fourth one I've had, with each prior one having the disc-drive stop working. Unfortunately with this one the warranty expired before it broke so I can only use it for the few games I have on the hard drive. And my PS3 went yellow, and the sound it makes when I turn it on sounds like the hard drive is shot. I could probably fix them without too much difficulty, but I lack the money for tools and parts to do so. But go figure, my NES that I've been playing for over 20 years still works, but I've yet to get one full year from a 360. But at least there are some great games that are still fun to play today, especially if you haven't played the in several years. You gotta upgrade your video game system, brother.
Don't have a TV
Me neither. ^_^
I much prefer reading books instead.
If I do buy a TV it will be exclusively for the purpose of watching movies, although I might get a projector instead.
In fact, the only time I watch any TV at all is when I visit my mother about twice a year (she lives in another part of the country than I do), so excluding that I haven't watched TV for more than eight years.
How do you know what to think and buy without commercials telling you?
Some commercials make me wonder just how dumb the people making them are, or who dumb the people making them think we are. Like the Hardees commercials that portray models attempting to eat a sandwich that is much bigger than their mouths are. Or the McDonalds commercial that compares many things to an egg mcmuffin. Of which I am assuming the weather, the car, the science project, and other things mentioned in the commercials are of poor quality overall, isn't bad but really isn't good in terms of functions, and something that you would settle for because there isn't anything better to choose from. How do you know what to think and buy without commercials telling you?
