Now that my husband is a daddy, I've told him he will be on his own with the whole sex talk thing as well.
Or you could just skip it like my parents. I learned everything at school, during 4th grade.

Are you kidding me??

Over my dead body are my kids going to learn sex ed from some stranger!!

Besides, sex ed in schools normally goes something like this: "Well I know all you little 13 year olds are horny as heck and can't wait to jump each other's bones, so have it. Just remember to use one of these foolproof inventions called condoms. Here is how to use them. Have fun."

Johnnys, I can't help but wonder what kind of school you went to if they taught you that. Here it was "Sex is EVIL unless you're married. Condoms never work! You'll get STDS if you have sex! Now pretend you have no urges!"

"It doesn't matter how smart you are, how skilled you are, how rich you are, how powerful you are, how similar you are, how difrent you are. All that matters is that you have a purpose."

Jensa, I really doubt they told you sex was evil. And, oh I forgot to mention one other thing, they said, "don't forget to look at your partner to make sure they don't have any diseases down there."

*GAG*

There have been more than I shall list but here are a few:

You never know what you can do unless you try.
You can do anything you REALLY set your mind to.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
No one is any better than anyone else.
God helps them who help themselves.
Don't wander too far;you might get lost.
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
The grass on the other side of the fence has just as many weeds.

There are more but the best advice I EVER got in my life was that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life!:D

Outside of marriage, they all but said it.There was an attitude of 'only sluts/idiots/heathens have sex before marriage.' I really doubt they told you to use a condom and go at it, so I guess we'll just have to settle for doubting each other. :D

The best advice I ever received was from my older brother. He said, "Nic, if you ever don't know what to do, just think of what I would do...and do the opposite." Served me pretty well over the years actually.

Then you better make sure there home schooled.

I just heard a good bit of advice. 'Pain is a good thing. If you have pain, it means you are still living.'
