What's the difference between Monism and Pantheism/Panentheism?

Imagine instead of God/Divine, the EU instead. Pantheism would be as it is with different nation states, yet all together the EU. Monism would be it is the same, one nation state...de-pluralism.

monism - the philosophical view that there is only one ultimate principle
pantheism - the idea that God and world are identical
panentheism - the universe is party of the Being of God - different from pantheism in that God pervades the universe, but is ALSO beyond it

not that getting clear definitions helps you live your life, or gives you any REAL deep understanding
