Don't know about God, but I have been given the realization that if I did not exist the universe would also be non-existent.

If you don't mind me asking, do you take this literally? As in, reality in its entirety is a product of your mind. Or do you take it more metaphorically? As in, your reality is determined by your perception of it.

As a component or creation of a universe, would that universe exist without it's parts (all its parts) conceiving its (the universe) existence? If so,how could you prove it?

You might have to bear with me if I'm being a little slow here. Are you saying that when you die, your perception of the universe's existence dies with you. What remains is a universe that lacks an integral element that came with your existence. Therefore the universe that exists after you die is a different universe to the one with you as a part of it.

Am I on the right track there?
